Yuecheng District (YCD) is located in West Ning-Shao Plain, South Bank of the Hangzhou Bay of the Changjiang Delta, east to Ningbo and west to Hangzhou. It covers an area of 188.49 square kilometers and has 8 townships and sub-districts, 109 villages and 63 neighborhood committees( township-level neighborhood committees) under its jurisdiction with a population of 412,200, including agricultural population of 95,400. The whole district generated a gross product of 34,544 billion RMB yuan in 2007, with the first industry contributing to 724 million RMB yuan......
